This rack fleet was obsolete as it had reached the end of its program. The base rack can be reused, but they needed work before that is possible. First, MIC removed the dunnage. We took out rods, inserts, curtains and velcro used to house parts on these racks. The rods were kept to be used again on the rack for the next program. Next, the racks were cleaned to remove dirt and glue residue. Then, the racks were painted back to a base color blue in the last step of the process.
